About Us
ABC Family Services was established in 2025 to serve families in Sanpete County and surrounding rural communities who are navigating difficult transitions and in need of safe, structured support. Our name reflects our mission: Arise, Build, and Connect—a belief that families, even in challenging circumstances, can move forward with the right guidance and resources.
In many rural areas, access to essential services such as supervised visitation, counseling, and respite care has historically required families to travel long distances—often an hour or more each way. This creates real challenges, including financial strain, time away from work, and disruption to children’s school and routines. For many families, these barriers make it difficult to fully engage in the very services designed to help them succeed.
ABC Family Services was created to change that.
By offering local, accessible services, we help remove those barriers and make it easier for families to participate consistently and meaningfully in their progress. Our goal is to support not only compliance with court-ordered services, but also genuine growth, healing, and reconnection within families.
We work closely with attorneys, Guardians ad Litem, DCFS, and the courts to provide structured, neutral, and professionally documented services. At the same time, we understand that behind every case is a family doing their best to move forward. Our approach is grounded in safety, respect, and a commitment to treating every individual with dignity.
ABC Family Services is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all families we serve. As part of this commitment, all supervisors undergo background checks, and our team utilizes training developed in coordination with local law enforcement. These practices help ensure that each visit is conducted in a structured, neutral setting where families can feel comfortable and focused on building positive connections.
ABC Family Services operates in alignment with established standards of care modeled after states with formal supervised visitation certification programs, including California. Our team has completed training through The National Supervised Visitation Program (a subsidiary of FCCS) and incorporates additional safety coordination practices informed by local law enforcement.
At ABC Family Services, we understand that families who require supervised services are often navigating emotional, financial, and logistical challenges. Accessing these services can be difficult, especially for those who are working hard to maintain stability while meeting court requirements.
We also recognize that while community resources and charitable organizations provide meaningful support, there remains a gap for families who may not qualify for assistance but still face real barriers to accessing consistent care. ABC Family Services is actively working to partner with a 501(c)(3) organization to help expand access and support more families in need.
Our focus is on working with families who are committed to growth, progress, and building stronger relationships. In addition to supervised visitation, we are expanding our services to include educational classes, counseling, and respite care—designed to support the family as a whole, not just a single moment of supervision.
We believe meaningful progress happens through consistency, education, and support. By offering a range of services for both adults and children, ABC Family Services aims to bridge the gap between legal requirements and long-term family stability—helping families move forward with the tools they need to thrive.
Whether a family is working through reunification, high-conflict exchanges, or simply needs structured support during a difficult time, we are here to provide a safe environment where progress can happen.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal:
to help families arise, build, and connect—stronger than before.
